Eco-conscious Products

The Fuji Xerox Group makes environmental conservation and safety preservation its core values. We, at Fuji Xerox Hong Kong, strive to promote our eco-conscious/green Products, including ALL of the following features:

Digital mode
The technology of storing the copy/print image once and producing one to many copies reduces light flashing and thus electricity consumption.
Power save function
The technology of temporarily shutting down the supply of electricity not only reduces the use of energy but also reduces wear-and-tear on spare parts, and thus increases the reliability of the machine.
Double-side copying/printing (duplex and multiple-up)
The function of duplex and multiple-up copying/printing helps reduce paper consumption and destruction of forests.

Furthermore, for Paper and Toner Cartridge, Fuji Xerox is a leading force in developing and implementing environmental best practices and new technologies. Paper has been a very convenient medium for recording and conveying information. To ensure a sustainable use of this precious medium, Fuji Xerox has set the target of achieving at least 50% use of recycled pulp and sourcing the remaining pulp from plantation forests and certified forests by 2010. Fuji Xerox offers high quality recycled paper, as well as an expanding line of paper produced through a chlorine-free manufacturing process.

And for most of the new products, Fuji Xerox has introduced EA-HG (Emulsion Aggregation High Grade) toner which is produced through a chemical process requiring 35% less energy in the production. Compared with the conventional toners, this EA-HG toner requires 37% less toner during printing.

We are continuously challenging our suppliers to meet and exceed standards for emissions to air, land, and water and for preservation of natural resources set by environmental agencies. Fuji Xerox has always considered caring for the environment a high priority.
