Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility & 'Good Company' Concept of FXHK Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a concept whereby organizations consider the interests of society by taking responsibility for the impact of their activities on customers, suppliers, employees, shareholders, communities, and other stakeholders, as well as the environment. This obligation is seen to extend beyond the statutory obligation to comply with legislation and sees organizations voluntarily taking further steps to improve the quality of life for employees and their families as well as for the local community and society at large.

In 1992, Fuji Xerox (FX) introduced the "Good Company Concept." This is our corporate vision, which aims to build a company that balances the three aspects of being "strong", "kind" and "interesting."

STRONG, we deliver excellent products and services that satisfy customers and reward its shareholders on an ongoing basis.

KIND, we contribute to the local and global communities, in terms of environmental conservation, ethics and corporate citizenship.

INTERESTING, our employees find their life and work interesting at "home"

As a good corporate citizen, Fuji Xerox Hong Kong (FXHK) is determined to harmonize with environment and community. Being a Caring Company for years, we shall keep our passion on contributing to the society with main focus on establishing sustainable environment for nursing our future generation.

Our CSR Committee, aiming at organizing social contribution activities, was formed in October 2002 and was composed of volunteers from staff led by senior management representative. In June 2008, we established a Volunteer Network to let staff communicate more directly on CSR information as well as their experience. Now around one eighth of the FXHK staff is themember of the network. With a stronger and united team, we are able to cope with coming CSR campaigns with more consolidated resources and support from staff and their families and friends.

Our ultimate goal is to let our staff regard office as their 2nd HOME – an "INTERESTING' place to work, and help them being 'KIND' to the society.
